SCAFELL PIKE

Climb to the highest peak in England (978 m) via the classic Wasdale Head Route, offering stunning views over Wastwater lake – England's deepest.The path ascends through the picturesque Wasdale Valley under the shadow of surrounding fells, then climbs steadily with switchbacks leading up the steep but beautiful backdrop to the summit. Reach the trig point and platform for panoramic views on a clear day across the Lake District. Descent follows the same path back to the car park.
